My name is Leticia Bocanegra and I am from Madrid (Spain).
This is my seventh year teaching, and my first year in Winona as a Spanish Language Immersion Program teacher. I am very excited to get the school year started and on its way! I have many fun ideas and things planned throughout the year. The most important thing for me is teaching and sharing my language and culture with boys and girls in the program.
Ever since I was little I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. I love children, especially seeing them grow, learn and evolve every day. It's one of the most beautiful professions!
During my free time, I love going to the movies or the theater shows, traveling, nature, hiking, talking with my family, the new technologies and crafts.
I am looking forward to having a wonderful school year with both you and your child!

Mi nombre es Leticia Bocanegra y soy de Madrid, España.
Este curso será mi séptimo año como maestra, y mi primer año en Winona formando parte del Programa de Inmersión en español. ¡Estoy muy feliz de poder formar parte de él! Tengo montones de ideas estupendas para llevar a cabo este año. Pero sin duda, lo más importante será enseñar y compartir mi idioma y mi cultura con mis alumnos.
Desde que era muy pequeña siempre recuerdo el querer ser maestra de kinder, ya que me encantan los niños, y sobre todo el verles crecer, aprender y evolucionar día a día. ¡Tengo una de las profesiones más bonitas del mundo!
Durante mi tiempo libre, me encanta ir al cine o al teatro, viajar, contemplar la naturaleza mientras hacemos senderismo, hablar con mi familia, las nuevas tecnologías y las manualidades.
¡Estoy segura de que este será un año estupendo para todos!
